Welcome to the Global Campus Health Plan for Simon Fraser University
Your health and well-being are extremely important. As such, SFU policy requires that, as an international student, you have basic health insurance for the entire duration of your studies at SFU. If you are bringing family, they should also have adequate health insurance during their stay in Canada.
The Global Campus Health Plan, offered through David Cummings Insurance Services (DCIS), provides top quality insurance coverage at a low cost for international students and their family members. It is designed to cover students during the three month waiting period for the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) or during the entire study period for students who will not qualify for MSP. The coverage is also available to SFU faculty and staff who are new to BC and need coverage for the waiting period for MSP.
To enrol for the Global Campus Health Plan, complete and send the application form with your payment to David Cummings Insurance Services (DCIS).
