Welcome to
Global Campus Health Plan
the Student Insurance division of
David Cummings Insurance Services (DCIS).
Why do I need health insurance?
Your health and well-being are extremely important.
If you suffer a sickness or injury, the most important thing is for you to get the proper medical attention. Without health insurance, the cost of medical services could limit your access to medical care or leave you with a large debt to pay.
Regent College policy requires that, as an
international student, you have basic health insurance for the
entire duration of your studies at Regent College. If you are
bringing family, they
should also have adequate health insurance during their stay in
Canada.
DCIS provides competitive
emergency hospital & medical insurance options for international
students in Canada, and for immigrants and returning Canadians who
are new to BC who face a waiting period for coverage under the
provincial health plan called BC Medical Services Plan (MSP).
Note to Regent
College employees, visiting instructors, and post-doctorate
fellows who need temporary hospital and medical coverage:
Please contact DCIS
for a quotation of a 'non-student' medical insurance plan.
Important
Notes:
The Allianz Global Assistance International Students to Canada

to FULL-TIME students until they are eligible for coverage under a
Canadian provincial health plan.
