The iMED health insurance card is an essential piece of identification, along with your UBC student ID. During your coverage dates, keep your iMED card and your student ID with you so that you (or someone on your behalf) can access them in case you need medical attention.
Didn't get your iMED card?
Your iMED card will be emailed to you from David Cummings
Insurance Services (DCIS), to the email address you provided
UBC when registering for your first class.
Note: DCIS starts to email iMED cards approximately one month prior to the start of each academic term. TIP! Check your inbox and junk-mail folders! Print your iMED card and keep it with you at all times.
If you do not get your iMED card, please contact DCIS at email@example.com. In your email please write “Missing iMED card” as the subject, and in the message please include your name, student number, and date of arrival in BC.
Incorrect iMED card?
If your iMED card has incorrect information contact DCIS at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email please write “Incorrect iMED card” as the subject. Include your name, student number, and date of arrival in BC in the message.
