The iMED health insurance card is an essential piece of identification, along with your UBC student ID. During your coverage dates, keep your iMED card and your student ID with you so that you (or someone on your behalf) can access them in case you need medical attention.
Didn't get your iMED card?
Within 10 days of registering for classes, your iMED card will be emailed to you at the address on the record at UBC.
If after 10 days you do not get your iMED card, contact DCIS at email@example.com. In your email please write “Missing iMED card” as the subject, and in the message please include your name, student number, and date of arrival in BC.
Incorrect iMED card?
If your iMED card has incorrect information contact DCIS at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email please write “Incorrect iMED card” as the subject. Include your name, student number, and date of arrival in BC in the message.
